Evolutionary Boxes

Evolutionary Boxes with the Woodturning School
Prerequisites: Intro 1 and Intro 2 or approved equivalent experience

Instructor:  Mark Irving

“Evolutionary Boxes” is a course designed to bring smiles, relax tense muscles and tinge your turning with a small touch of soul.  What is a box? A box can be any vessel with a removable top. The top does not even have to fit tightly. In this class you don’t need to worry about micrometer perfect dimensions. Your box can look like a teapot, an apple, a pear, or just a crazy shape.  You will have fun designing your own boxes.  “Evolutionary Boxes” will give you an opportunity to go easy on yourself, smile more and strive less. No white knuckles allowed.

Turning Boxes by Richard Raffan is a strongly recommended text.
