Ken founded the Woodturning School in 2004 to meet the needs of aspiring turners; and it was both his vision and inspiration that led to the program’s initial success. In May 2007 he moved the program into expanded and more compatible space. Its vision has been expanded to include sharing the joy and beauty of turning with anyone who might, with a little encouragement, become a competent woodturner.

Ken’s turning background includes 13 years as a member of
the American Association of Woodturners; 7½ years as a contributing editor of American Woodturner magazine, in
which he profiled and got to know many of the most promi-nent woodturners of the time.

His own work has been widely shown in prominent galleries in the Northeastern United States. He was a demonstrator at the AAW Symposium in 1998 and has demonstrated at the New England Symposium in 2005. More recently Ken’s work was juried into the 2007 member’s show at the prestigious Fuller Craft Museum.

Ken is a current member of the Maine Woodturners. and the American Association of Woodturners.
