Turn a Lamp with a Translucent Wood Lamp Shade
Prerequisite: Intro 2 or approved equivalent experience.

Create a small table lamp and a translucent wood shade to go with it

The instructor for this very special class is Peter Asselyn, a superb turner and seasoned teacher.  He will lead six students in following a straightforward eight-step procedure to turn a lampshade that is so thin it’s translucent

They’ll also turn a lamp base to go with it. With this class you begin to take ownership of very delicate hollow turning techniques. The resultant small table lamp casts a beautiful warm glow.

This two-day Turn a Lamp Class costs $325 and includes coffee, breakfast pastries, lunches, snacks, soda. All tools, supplies, and materials to complete your lamp are also included.
