Peter began woodworking in the early nineties and quickly narrowed his focus to the art of woodturning, finding the tactile pleasure of turning unique wood objects to be sensually and spiritually rewarding. “I engage in a sort of dialog with each piece I am working, constantly monitoring and assessing evolving grain and patterns of rim, bark, and voids, letting these attributes dictate the direction the form will take.”
Peter is a past president of the Maine Woodturners and a member of The American Association of Woodturners.
