Your payment will hold your place in the class. We recommend that you register early because classes often fill up quickly and enrollment is always limited to a maximum of six students.

 

Payment Options: Checks are preferred and should should be made out to “Woodturning School”.

 

Additionally, Master Card, Visa, and Discover credit cards are also accepted.

Four-Week Classes

    As a rule, the start of our four-week classes begin during the first week of each month. They run once a week (sessions are three hours long) for four weeks. The cost for the four-week class is $130 plus a $20 materials fee for a total of $150.

Two-Day Intensive Classes

    The Two-Day Intensive class is an opportunity for you to acquire the same level of skill in one weekend and are designed for those students who have limited time during the week.

     

    The cost for a Two-Day Intensive Class starts at $260 and includes coffee, breakfast pastries, lunches, snacks, soda and all materials.

Register 02Master Bowl Turning

    This two day Master Bowl Turning Class costs $375 and includes coffee, breakfast pastries, lunches, snacks, soda, and the use of all tools needed and all materials.

 

Master Platter

    Master Platter Turning costs $545; and includes coffee, breakfast pastries, lunches, snacks, soda, the use of all needed tools and
    all materials, ands blanks for five pieces.

Natural Edge Bowl

    Our two-day Natural Edge Bowl class costs $325. This includes all materials, breakfast, lunch, and soft drinks; as well as the use of all needed tools.

Practice Session

    Any three hour practice session costs $25 with moderator, no instruction and students may buy materials through the Woodturning School or furnish their own materials.

Girl’s Night Out

    This three hour class costs $40 and includes Chocolate Truffle Cake, coffee, and all other necessary materials.

     

    This one-night class can be arranged for men, families, mixed company or member’s of any affinity group. After all - girls should not have
    all the fun.

 

Achievement Program

    Once the student has taken Intro 1 the Achievement Program offers the three remaining elements representing our Core Courses (Intro 2, Bowl 1, and Bowl 2) for a reduced price of $390. This includes all material fees, and represents an overall savings of $60.

     

    Registration and payment for all three courses must be made at one time and student will have up to one year to complete each of them. Upon completion, a certificate will be awarded that certifies that the holder is eligible to enroll in our more advanced woodturning workshops and other special programs.

Register 04Schedule your own special class time

    We are always willing to try to run a class at times that may be different than those posted. If you see a class that you’d like to take, but the posted time does not fit into your schedule, please let us know. We need as few as four or as many as six students to run a class. Gather a group of friends and we will work with you to find a time that works for everyone. Or just let us know you are interested and we will contact others we know want the same class.

    Do you have a group of fellow woodturners with a course idea you would like to pursue? Talk to us and we work to create a custom course tailored to your group’s interest.

    We’ve compiled a list of local establishments for your consideration. We’ve even arranged for a few of them to offer reduced rates for our students. Click here for the list.
     

Cancellation Policy

    A minimum enrollment of four students is required for each class. Full refunds will be issued if a class is canceled, or a credit can be applied toward another class. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel classes at anytime for any reason. We reserve the right to change the fees as we see necessary. Payment in full reserves class placement.

     

    Payment must be received no later than 5 business days before the first class. Up to 5 business days prior to the first class, an individual may cancel his/her class registration and receive a refund or credit upon request less a $25 registration fee.  Cancellation within 5 days of the start of a class will result in not receiving a refund. Anyone aged sixteen and over is welcome to enroll in a class. Minors will need written parental permission.

of instruction in woodturning to men, women, and teens
in an affordable, accessible and safe atmosphere.
