Turn a Translucent Wood Lamp Shade at the Woodturning School

Prerequisite: Intro 2 or approved equivalent experience.

Create a small table lamp and a translucent wood shade to go with it

Six students will be taught a straight-forward eight-step procedure to turn a lampshade that is so thin it’s translucent

They’ll also turn a lamp base to go with it. With this class you begin to take ownership of very delicate hollow turning techniques. The resultant small table lamp casts a beautiful warm glow.
